The management team, lecturers, and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences welcome the management teams from several faculties of the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on their visit to promote academic programs and scholarships at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, NUOL (08.06.2026).
The Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences participated in a panel discussion under the topic: "Creating Enabling Prerequisite Conditions for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Teacher Development for Sustainable Development and Alignment with the 10th 5-Year National Economic and Social Development Plan (2026-2030)" at the launch ceremony of the National Strategy and Development Plan for Science, Technology, and Innovation 2026-2040, and the National Teacher Policy, held at the National University of Laos (05.06.2026).
The Dean, lecturers, and members of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Natural Sciences participated in a tree-planting ceremony to celebrate the 46th anniversary of National Tree Planting Day and the 102nd anniversary of International Children's Day, creating an enthusiastic movement to welcome the upcoming 30th anniversary of the establishment of the National University of Laos on the morning of June 1, 2026.
The Faculty of Natural Sciences, National University of Laos, in collaboration with Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University and Georgia Gwinnett College, will organize the 3rd KPRU International Research Conference on Science, Mathematics and Technology on June 27, 2026.

The Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Natural Sciences (FNS), National University of Laos (NUOL) takes immense pride in sending our representative teachers and students to Jakarta, Indonesia, to participate in the regional Huawei ICT Competition APAC 2026.
This proud achievement was led by:

Outstanding Achievement: They successfully won Third Prize in this competition and were the "only team from the Lao PDR" selected to represent and showcase their skills on this Asia-Pacific (APAC) regional stage.
This is not just a competition, but an opportunity to showcase the knowledge and capability of Lao students, demonstrating our ICT technology potential to the region.
