Faculty of Natural Sciences
The Faculty of Natural Sciences is a faculty established concurrently with the founding of the National University of Laos in 1996. It operates under the direct supervision of the President of the National University of Laos, focusing on the implementation of teaching-learning curricula to develop human resources with knowledge, capability, revolutionary moral character, ethics, and mental civility, in order to supply quality personnel for the nation’s socio-economic development. The Faculty of Natural Sciences has the duty of producing specialists in natural sciences and technology across 5 major branches: Mathematics-Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science. Currently, it consists of 5 academic departments and 6 administrative divisions, within which each department implements teaching-learning curricula according to its respective field.
